Linda Carter Blackwell began her career as an attorney after graduating
from the University of California, Davis with a Juris Doctorate in 1980.
She immediately went to work in the Alameda County District Attorney's
Office-wherein she tried more than 75 cases and prosecuted more than 250
preliminary examinations-but she soon discovered that she was truly passionate
about the practice of elder law and technology law. For this reason, she
quickly changed focus and began working in a field that was more closely
aligned with her interests. Since then, she has proudly served as an integral
member of Blackwell, Santaella & Jahangiri LLP and has helped numerous
individuals to prepare for the uncertain future of their estate and/or

Attorney Ivette M. Santaella has been dedicated to the practice of estate
planning and technology law for several years in San Ramon, CA. Throughout
this time, she has assisted countless individuals in successfully preparing
for the future of their estate and has even helped numerous families through
the process of legacy and business succession planning. Ms. Santaella
is an active member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association Trust Section,
WealthCounsel®, and serves as the estate planning point person for
the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California. Before delving
into her career as an estate planning attorney, she also worked as counsel

Lubna K. Jahangiri provides representation in a variety of transactional
and real property business matters including entity formations, drafting
and negotiating complex business contracts, commercial leases, and buy-sell
agreements. Prior to joining Blackwell, Santaella & Jahangiri, LLP
as a partner, she was a successful solo practitioner serving business
owners and real estate investors in the San Francisco Bay Area. Attorney
Jahangir conducts Continuing Legal Education courses for attorneys and
has published articles in the
Business Law News of the California State Bar's quarterly journal. Prior to becoming
an attorney, she worked in the field of mental health and served as a
Clinical Supervisor of the
Thea Bowman House , a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility for pregnant women and women
with young children.
